Letter from John Boardman to William C. Brice, undated 1958

Handwritten note in which Boardman thanks Brice for a text. Boardman states that he has decided to call the object an "offering table" rather than a "libation table." The note is undated, but likely to have been written in late January or early February 1958. In light of earlier letters, the "text" Boardman refers to is likely Brice's interpretive comments on the Dictaean Cave fragment in the Ashmolean collection. The libation-cum-offering table is likely that from the cave at Mt. Dicte on Crete.
