Among the projects listed in 1926 for the newly established Bureau of Business Research (BBR) at the University of Texas at Austin was the "issuance of a publication setting forth the economic health of the state." And so began Texas Business Review (TBR) in April 1927. This special 75th anniversary issue hopefully provides an insightful and enjoyable look back that will perhaps enhance our view on where the twenty-first century is going.en
