Sibling and friendship relationships of children with attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder and typical development

Abstract

Description

The topic of this study was ADHD and peer and sibling relationships. The goal of the study was to investigate the quality of and possible links between friendship and sibling relationships in children with ADHD and children without ADHD. The researchers predicted that children with ADHD would report more negative views of their relationships than children without ADHD. They also predicted that children's view of sibling relationships would correlate positively with their view of friendships.
