Late Cretaceous-Cenozoic tectonics and sedimentation in southern Central America : Costa Rica and Panama

This thesis presents three integrated studies of Upper Cretaceous to Recent tectonics and sedimentation in southern Central America (Panama and Costa Rica). A short concluding Chapter presents my evaluation of the hydrocarbon potential of Panama and Costa Rica.
