In addition to Abra Pampa in Jujuy Province, the resolution names two other places contaminated with industrial waste: San Antonio Oeste in Rio Negro, and Calingasta in San Juan. It refers to Decree 1523/2007 of November 6, 2007, which approved a contract about a loan from the Inter-American Development Bank. Among other things, it mentions an estimated 7 thousand tons of lead slag in the neighborhood called Barrio 12 de Octubre. It talks about the figure that 81% of the children tested there have elevated levels of lead above the tolerable level set by the World Health Organization. It goes on to describe the effects of lead poisoning. The document ends with the name of the National Deputy Fernanda Reyes.en
