Abstract
In the growing recognition of South Korean culture, their values and their own share of societal debate and criticism take place somewhere for all the world to see: their media products. This paper uses three case studies of webtoon (a web-friendly comic)-turned-TV drama to showcase examples of culture discussion and change particularly in collectivism effects on the individual, feminism, and consumed media.
