Description

Gwynn hopes to transcribe Professor Schaeffer’s new tablet and the Louvre tablet fairly soon. She has already prepared a comparative table of scripts of Crete and Cyprus for Professor Schaeffer. Her paper on the Enkomi II tablet outlines a preliminary framework, leading up to the argument that it is an early Homeric text. It did not find an audience at either the Journal of Hellenic Studies or the Mycenaean Seminar. Gwynn cites this anecdote to say that Brice’s outline and her full transcriptions might only have a venue at KADMOS.
