Life on the frontier : from start to not-yet-finished on The West

This master’s report will explore the process of writing my thesis script The West, from the initial conception of the idea as a feature film, to various versions of an hour long pilot and, finally, to its current 61 page iteration. I will examine this process in order to better understand my development process in writing, discover what still works and what does not work in the current draft as well as how I have grown as a writer while writing this script.
