    Description
For Bays and Estuaries Program, Environmental Systems Section, Texas Water Development Board
    December 1989
This document serves as the final data report for the Nitrogen Processes Study II (NIPS-II) of Corpus and Nueces Bays, covering the sampling period of October 1987 to October 1988. During this time period, pigment concentrations and primary production were estimated in conjunction with a multi-disciplinary study on the effects of freshwater inflow to the Nueces estuary. Chlorophyll concentrations were routinely determined in association with monthly bay nutrient surveys, with the twice a month zooplankton sampling, with benthic chamber work, and with the five major experimental stations. Primary production estimates were collected only during the five major experimental cruises (Oct. 87, Dec. 87, Apr. 88, May 88 & Jul. 88)
