Description
This report concerning the reorganization of a program of education in a small community has two primary purposes: 1. To present the essential characteristics of the programs of education developed in Lockhart, Texas, in 1935-1936 and in 1941-1942; 2. To suggest the procedures employed in effecting the transition from one type of program to the other. Subsidiary purposes include implementing the thinking and activity of other school administrators, suggesting evaluation procedures for future educational reorganization and suggesting bases on which the program may be expanded and developed to meet the ever-changing needs of the local community
