Compiled from testimonies collected by African Rights between 2004 and 2006, it brings together the individual stories of survivors, witnesses and perpetrators. Their experiences are juxtaposed and arranged chronologically, with introductions to guide the reader. The result is a detailed narrative that encompasses the varied perspectives of 91 Rwandese. Such an intricate and nuanced account of these events has never been previously heard.
