Round-Up Tradition T U E E X E C U T IV E COUNCIL of the Ex- S tud ents Association provides in resolutions for the continuance of the Ro und- Up as an annual fe a tu re of the U niversity year. Held on th e cam pus last year for the fir s t time, the Round-Up established its rig h t as a great Longhorn tradition. Students, ex-stu dents, p aren ts, relatives, and the faculty combined to establish beyond a d oubt the right of this cam pus institution to become a perm anent featu re by their cooperation and active participation. Most colleges over the country have some sort of an annual feature which b rin g s ex- students and students together, and helps im m easurably to keep alive trad itio n s which have become an integral part pf the school’s history and lore. The Round-Up is d istinc tive, rep resen tin g the s p irit o f the U niver- [ sity and the entire state. It b rin g s visitors who become conscious for the first tim e p e r haps of the vast scope of life a t the Uni- ; versify. The innovation of the Round-Up last y ear ! is already history. It was successful, both | from th e view point of the stu d en ts and th e visitors to the campus. It was beautifully executed and gigantic in scale. T his y e a r it I should be b etter still. . .
