A delightful four-course breakfast was served during the hours of 7:30 to 9, which consisted of grapefruit* shredded wheat biscuits, straw berries and cream, squab on toast, and coffee. F riday evening a t the Knights of Columbus Hall was the scene of a bril. bant cotton ball given by the members of the Arrow Head Club. Festoons of vines and bamboo were used in decorating the ball room. The orches­ tra stage carried out in its decora­ tion the rural suggestion, where the orchestra was almost entirely con­ cealed by a woodland scene of trees, palms, and festooned vines. Dozens of bright lights outlined a huge arrow I head which was suspended from the I center of the stage, and on each light j was a cotton boll, out of which a black pickaninny face peeped. George Heyer, president of the club, led the grand march, dance g with Miss Jane Gregory, while Hal Halbert led the cotillion figures, dancing with Miss Laura Johns.
