Martha J a y Winn, junior from Wharton, was named by captains a n d of the visiting university -olleg!' team s competing in t h e R e l a y s as the first queen of the T e x a s Relays. for All eight of the other candi­ d a t e s named by students of the University to compete t h e h o n o r received votes as twenty- seven captains turned in ballots.
