tangs. Along with Blister Raborn, 
second year man also, the two are

Harlan Ray is the only southpaw

era n guards. He was an all-city 
and all-State guard while a t te n d ­
ing high school a t 
the Dallas 
Technical High School.

J. R. (Jack Rabbit) Smith is the
le ading scorer so far this season. 
In the first ganm of the year, he 
crossed the goal line th ree times 
d u ring the th r e e q u a r te rs that he 
played. Smith is fast, elusive and 
one of the best passers anil p u n t­
