This collection is the basis for the book, The Architecture and Sculpture of Oaxaca, 1530s-1980s, published by the Center for Latin American Studies, University of Arizona, Tempe, in 1995. CODEX Editores, Mexico, is publishing a Spanish version, La arquitectura y la escultura de Oaxaca 1530s-1980s. Volume one, La ciudad, appeared in 1992. Volume two, El estado, primera parte, appeared in 1994. The second and third parts await publication. CODEX Editores will also publish The City of Oaxaca: Its Architecture and Sculpture over 400 Years in English.
