dc.description.abstractThis thesis describes the use of the multistory frame analysis technique devised by Gaspar Kani. A computer program using the Kani method was written which includes P - Δ effects on sidesway and an elastic-plastic behavior analysis is performed. Only initial input is required from the programmer for elastic-plastic analysis. The computer program incrementally will add load until hinging occurs and a limited number of hinges is specified by the programmeren_US
