This study of state regulation in Texas is the product of a Policy Research Project conducted at the LBJ School in the 1985-86 academic year. The publication was funded by the Texas Department of Health, the State Board of Insurance, the Public Utility Commission of Texas, and the Savings and Loan Department of Texas.
