Abstract
Small test plots of upland, emergent, and submergent environments on recent and old dredged material and other barren sites in Corpus Christi Bay were transplanted with selected local natural plants. Data from the first year's growing season 1977-78 is presented. Selection of nursery sites, determination and location of sprig transplant and seed varieties, substrate type, soil amendment, modification, and post-plant monitoring were considered. Laboratory work included soil chemistry and textural analysis.
