dc.description.abstractThe present invention provides compositions and methods of making Sn-MCx-C and Sb-MOx-C nanostructured anode compositions that exhibit excellent capacity retention with high capacity and rate capability that alleviate the volume expansion encountered with alloy anodes during the charge-discharge process.
