Description
The intent of this study is to formulate a solution scheme for the nonlinear dynamic analysis of framed structures, which yields results about as accurate as those obtained using explicit formulae but still are not more expensive than the implicit shemes, for structures of practically any stiffness. That is, the stability of the scheme is not controlled by those higher modes of the structure which have very insignificant contribution to the overall response
