The Economy of the Urban Ethnic Enclave, PRP 97

In the Spring of 1989, the Tomas Rivera Center, with the support of the Rockefeller Foundation, provided funding for the PRP on the Economy of the Urban Ethnic Enclave. Under the direction of Professor Jorge Chapa from the LBJ School of Public Affairs and Professor Gilberto Cardenas from the Sociology Department, the PRP strived to determine the correlates of the economic prospects for urban enclaves of the city of San Antonio. In addition to Dr. Romo, Leo Gomez and Belinda De La Rosa from the Tomas Rivera Center have been instrumental in the completion of this PRP.
