Para Conocimiento de la Jefa del Area III, May 30, 2008

This document, just over one page, is on the letterhead of the Defensor del Pueblo de la Nación (national ombudsman’s office). It is entitled “For the knowledge of the Boss of Area III.” It states that Dr. Carlos Ripoll tested the blood of 1800 people, both children and adults, in Abra Pampa for lead poisoning and “ALA D.” The preliminary results of the ALA D tests are finished, but the lead poisoning tests are delayed. It also states that since only 25% of the population of Abra Pampa has had their blood tested, they should do another round of tests. It ends with the signature of Virginia De Francesco, and another signature which is probably that of Cristina Maiztegui, who wrote “Exacto” (exactly) before signing.
