Description

Through a digital humanities internship at the University of Texas at Austin in the Department of History, data analysis of students’ participation in an effort to increase geographic literacy in the department produced the following research project. The initiative was implemented through the interdisciplinary action of using an online learning software then using data analysis to make inferences on how to improve the project in the future as well as identify students’ areas of struggle in understanding and the reasoning behind those misunderstandings.
