Abstract
This report examines the effects that Sea Level Rise (SLR) is projected to have on the coastal city of Miami, FL. This phenomenon will not only cause severe generalized disruption for the city, but its effects are likely to be borne worst by more vulnerable communities. After reviewing SLR projections and adaptive and mitigative infrastructure options, an extensive review of the current trends affecting the city is completed that forms the basis for the projection of several alternative future scenarios for the city of Miami in the year 2070.
