Description
āAll the Colors I am Insideā celebrates the spectrum of voices in youth literature as well as the transformative discoveries we can make through reading diversely. The theme for this display sprung from a partnership between the student organization, Students Expanding Austin Literacy (SEAL), and UT Libraries. SEAL reached out in search of educational materials and books that reflect the experiences of the K-12 students they serve in the Austin community. UT Libraries responded, adding a SEAL page to the Youth Literature research guide and creating a display which includes book recommendations from both Library staff and SEAL members. With this inaugural display highlighting the Perry-CastaƱeda Libraryās circulating materials, UT Libraries intends to continue encouraging patron engagement with its collections through rotating displays. āAll the Colors I am Insideā is located on the third floor of PCL and will be on view through May 4, 2018.
