Application of the model-based parameter estimation to the analysis and optimization of broadband antennas

In this work, the model-based parameter estimation (MBPE) is investigated for designing a broad band antenna and deriving its equivalent circuit model. A rational function, which describes the input impedance of the antenna, is employed for the basis function of the MBPE.
