The purpose of this study is simply to analyze the salient factors in the typical Latin-American student's scholastic and non-scholastic environment which influence his occupational adjustment. Consequently, both the contemporary economic status of the Latin-American group in Texas and the nature and scope of the program of vocational guidance, training, and placement were analyzed, in order to make possible a new approach that would lead to an ameliorated program of occupational adjustment for Latin-Americans.
