Homer in Eighteenth Century America

This project won the 2015 Signature Course Information Literacy First Place Award. The award recognizes exemplary student work that achieves the learning outcomes of the Signature Course information literacy requirement, which are that students will be able to create and execute a research strategy, critically evaluate information, and use citations. This paper was nominated by Dr. Adam Rabinowitz from the Classics Department and was submitted in his Fall 2014 Signature Course “Tales of the Trojan War.” This project was selected for the approach to refining and developing the topic as part of the research process, use of evidence to support the argument, and the range of primary and secondary sources with which the student engaged.
