Abstract

This report discusses findings from the senior surveys conducted in the spring of 2014. Some notable student responses for the Class of 2014 include participation in college preparation activities, attendance of financial aid events, reasons for meeting with school counselors, reasons for not attending college, and how well students felt their high school coursework prepared them for college. This report will also highlight differences between seniors’ responses from 2009 to 2014 on topics such as their plans for postsecondary education, college preparation activities, preparation and submission of financial aid applications, as well as student reported college acceptance trends.
