Abstract

My creative thesis followed the development of a better-for-you sangria product. I began the process by conducting primary and secondary industry research, customer analysis, recipe and product development, market analysis, and brand development followed by researching regulatory barriers and next steps. Throughout the process, I spoke to consumers and make hundreds of gallons of sangria (testing over 60 recipes with 700+ people) and learning a ridiculous amount about the alcohol industry. I created Little Bird Sangria, a great-tasting, next-gen sangria made with wine, fruit, and nothing else -- no artificial flavors and no added sugar. It's a light, refreshing, and effervescent take on the classic drink with two flavors, classic red and white peach.
