Abstract

Many liquefied natural gas import facilities are being converted into liquefaction export facilities, which require many pieces of large, noise equipment. The facilities are located along the coast, often near residential areas, and must meet federal noise regulations to minimize disruption of the community. This report illustrates the noise control procedures associated with a hypothetical liquefaction engineering, procurement, and construction project
