dc.description.abstract | We construct an invariant of mapping tori from a moduli space of stable pairs, where a pair is a rank 2 vector bundle over a closed Riemann surface along with a nonzero section. In the case of genus 1 fibers, we calculate this invariant for a large subset of such mapping tori. | |
