Description
This work discusses the literary effect of the external community on the significant relationships between family members, as well as the bond one has with themselves. This conversation is enhanced by the inclusion of three works from female authors of distinct backgrounds, as they portray these relationships through these specific racial lenses. The work concludes with the understanding that the consequences of society on these relationships is a shared experience through the transcension of racial divides.
