Stratagem and method

For as long as I can remember, I’ve placed the way something happens on even par with the outcome. As a designer, I'm in good company in having this trait. Design is very much about turning the inner logic of something into an outer logic. For me, this trait has turned into something bordering on obsession so that I can rarely make work without first crafting some complex stratagem or method for doing so. It has become the focus of the work I've done here. I craft systems for designing that create the possibilities for a multitude of options; that back me into a corner and force me to come up with creative solutions in order to get out; that generate ideas and solutions that I never would have otherwise made.
