Description
"This monograph discusses the [Setaria] species occurring in North America, including the West Indies and Central America through Panama. The West Indies embraces Bermuda, the Bahamas, Trinidad and Tobago, as well as the West Indies proper. The total number of species and varieties, native or introduced into North America, that I [James M. Rominger] recognize as distinct is forty-seven. This number is likely to be increased as adventives arrive from other continents and as certain complexes of species become more intensively investigated."
