dc.description.abstractMarijuana law reform has become a significant issue across the country. Many states have passed reform of one kind or another and even President Obama has come out in favor of medical marijuana. And Texas has started the conversation on whether to change its marijuana laws. This report looks at the efforts being taken by reform advocates and the challenges they face pushing new laws through the Texas legislature.en
