This analysis of public policy toward the humanities in Texas is the product of a Policy Research Project conducted at the Lyndon B. Johnson School of Public Affairs during 1985-86 . Research and publication were funded by the Texas Committee for the Humanities and the Lyndon B. Johnson Foundation.
