Abstract

The Minority Women Employment Program (formerly entitled Black Women Employment Program) has continued to place minority women into managerial, technical and professional positions. Despite the economic downturn in Atlanta and several major organizational and staff changes this year, 64 placements were made this year, bringing the total number of placements over three years of operation to 184. This year's record, an improvement over last year's performance, was also achieved without any apparent decline in quality of job placements. This report provides a description of project operations and accomplishments during its third year of life.
