Created as part of a University of Texas at Austin's Latin American Studies Master's Thesis (Tá Ligado: Rodas e Hip Hop no Rio) by Jessica Díaz-Hurtado, the video series looks at how culture and the use of space are used to empower young people to build positive self-images. Tá Ligado was filmed during the summer of 2014.
