Abstract

Zona Oeste focuses on Rio’s west side budding hip hop scene. Given that zona oeste is often marginalized from the rest of the city, it has created a hip hop community based on resistance and family. Locations: Bangu e Realengo. Featured Organizations: Caixa de Surpresa and Espaço Cultural Viaduto de Realengo.
