The construction and validation of the self discovery inventory : a test of adolescent developmental maturity

The purpose of this thesis is to report on the construction of an inventory designed to measure organic, dynamic, and developmental aspects of the adolescent personality and on the studies that have been made to establish its reliability and validity. To justify the construction of this inventory, there was an examination of other related inventories, a description of the content and theoretical background of the constructs of the inventory, a presentation of the methods of construction, and a justification of the theoretical hypotheses underlying the research procedures involved in its construction
