Description

This exhibit featured the work of 21 Diné/Navajo poets and poets from other Southwestern tribes and nations. Some of the featured writers include Luci Tapahonso and Laura Tohe, the first and second poets laureate of the Navajo Nation (respectively), Pulitzer Prize nominees Wendy Rose and Margo Tamez, and American Book Award winners Sherwin Bitsui and Joy Harjo. The exhibit was on view at the UT Poetry Center in the Perry-Castañeda Library from March 6 through May 26.
