Primavera

Primavera is collaborative work for live saxophone quartet, fixed media, dance, and media.

The fixed media portion of the project contains two additional quartets, which were recorded in the studio prior to the performance, as well as sampled piano and vibraphone parts.

The recorded quartets, Recorded I and Recorded II, were then processed in a DAW and exported to provide the fixed media that accompanies the quartet during live performance.

The quartet members are supplied with a click track during the performance.
