Displaying cookbooks focusing on regional recipes from around the world, “Tasteful Travels” brings the flavors and aromas of home and abroad to the University's international and domestic students alike. Tasting familiar foods in an unfamiliar place supports students’ well-being in their research efforts and provides opportunity to gain cooking skills. The display aims for a fuller representation of the cultures present in UT’s student body for all to experience by exploring new recipes as well. The cookbooks on display are a part of the Library’s circulating materials, so they are accessible for students to engage with after the display. “Tasteful Travels” was located on the third floor of PCL and was on view June 28, 2018 through August 24, 2018.
