Abstract
This thesis consists of a play, WIRELESS-LESS, a feature-length screenplay, The Riverboat Gambles, and a process essay, Living the Questions Themselves. WIRELESSLESS is a script for live performance. A librarian, a composer, her scanner, his laptop: love in the age of information. Out of his turntables, a DJ spins this kinetic story of digital addiction and human connection. The piece was first performed on April 11, 2007 in the B. Iden Payne Theater as part of the University Co-op Presents the David Mark Cohen New Works Festival.
