Analysis of voltage sag and induction motor performances for the power supply source transfer

It is very important to maintain the reliable operation of power system for various industries in order to achieve a continuous operation of the plant. Motor bus transfer scheme which had been introduced to power plant in 1950's is the one of the methods to maintain the process continuity. Motor bus transfer scheme is designed to transfer the present source to new source to supply continuous power to the connected loads. The purposes of this thesis are to study and analyze the voltage sag and induction motor performances for the period of power supply source transfer and to suggest some recommendations and concerns for designing industrial power system with motor bus transfer scheme.
