    Abstract
The problem: 4.5 lbs. of trash is produced per day by the average American; planned and perceived obsolescence; United Nations is calculating the cost of pollution and other environmental damages caused by the 3,000 largest public corporations summed up around $2.2 trillion in greenhouse gas emission, other pollution, and water degradation. Future solutions include: redesigning heavy trucks to make them more fuel efficient; converting dirty plastics into fuel or petrochemicals; all green sustainable disposal; utilizing consumer purchasing power; and quantifying externalized costs in order to require these costs to be taken into account on balance sheets and repaid by corporations.
