Description
This report on community development planning for East Austin was the result of a Policy Research Project conducted in 1979-80 in response to a request from the East Austin Chicano Development Corporation (CDC). The study outlines strategies and initial program implementation plans for preserving the East Austin neighborhood. stimulating employment, and improving commercial and community services in that area of the city. Funding for the project was provided by the Lyndon Baines Johnson Foundation and the School of Architecture of The University of Texas at Austin.
