Abstract

Dr. Carolyn Seepersad, Assistant Professor of Mechanical Engineering at the Cockrell School, discussed ways to help engineers innovate and create better user experience by using empathetic techniques in product design and testing.

Seepersad oversees the Product Process and Materials Design Lab where researchers interact with products under challenging circumstances in an effort to improve the design process.
